7:00 AM – Van check and first jobs
Harry kicks off the day early, checking over his mobile unit, a fully equipped van packed with paint systems, compressors, sanding gear and a colour-matching kit… he swears by. The morning he reviews the day’s schedule on his phone :

8:15 AM – First stop: alloy repair in warrington
The morning starts with a Range Rover showing signs of a nasty kerb kiss, so a deep scrapes on the front-left alloy. Harry sets to work, removing the wheel, smoothing out the damage and applying filler where needed. After prepping the surface, he primes and colour-matches the finish using Axioma’s in-van system.
With the heat lamp curing the job, the whole thing is wrapped up in just over 90 minutes. “That looks brand new!” the customer says, clearly surprised at the turnaround time.
11:00 AM – Bumper rescue in Chester
Next up is a family car with a rear bumper scuff from a misjudged supermarket parking space. Classic.
Harry preps the surface, fills the deeper marks, then gets to work with the spray gun. The black paint is a tricky match, but years of experience and his trusted equipment make it second nature. By the time he blends the new paint with the original finish, it’s impossible to tell where the damage was.
Another customer saved from a multi-day bodyshop visit and a much bigger bill.
1:15 PM – Refuel and regroup
Lunchtime is a sandwich and a quick review of the morning’s work through the Axioma platform. It’s a moment to catch his breath, check messages from the office team and scroll through the next job on the schedule.
2:30 PM – Tricky one: dark grey car in Widnes
The final stop is a dark grey VW Golf with a door scrape and a couple of shallow dents, common damage from tight urban parking. Dark Grey is always a challenge in changing daylight, so Harry sets up a canopy to control the light and gets stuck in.
Using a combination of dent removal tools and refinishing techniques, he gradually brings the panel back to perfection. Blending the repair into the existing finish takes time, but the result is worth it.
The owner is impressed: “I thought I’d need a whole new door. You’ve saved me a fortune.”
6:00 PM – Wrap-up and Wind down
Back at home, Harry takes twenty minutes to clean his gear, refill supplies and upload job reports and photos through the system. Thanks to Axioma’s admin team, he doesn’t have to worry about chasing payments or sending invoices.
A quick look at tomorrow’s schedule and the day’s done. Another handful of satisfied customers and a few more cars looking good as new.
