SMART Car Body Repairs
SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) car body repairs are a series of car body repair techniques that provide a cost-effective, quick and sustainable way to repair vehicles.
The SMART repair technique entails masking and isolating the affected (damaged) area of the panel, and blending the finished paint to match the rest of the (undamaged) panel. Instead of having to respray the entire side of a car to fix a door scratch, for instance, the repairer will simply isolate and repair the affected area. This avoids having to repair or replace the entire side of the car.
Using the same body shop quality paints and materials, infra red drying, and specifically designed spray guns, the damaged area is repaired and blended into the undamaged area.
